The red brake warning light can indicate low brake fluid, a hydraulic fault, worn brake components, or an engaged parking brake. If it stays on after releasing the parking brake, or flashes, it often signals worn pads or a fluid leak that affects stopping power. Because it relates directly to braking safety, the cause should be diagnosed without delay.
