We almost always need your vehicle's VIN number to price parts and labor. You can enter it here or send us a photo of the VIN. A VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) is a unique 17-character code that acts like a car's fingerprint, identifying it and providing information about its specifications. All vehicles sold in North America since 1981 have a VIN. Where to find the VIN: Registration Documents: The VIN is printed on your vehicle's registration and insurance documents. Dashboard: Often visible through the windshield on the driver's side near the A-pillar (the post between the windshield and driver's side door). Doorjamb: Usually found on the driver's side doorjamb (where the door latches when closed), or on a sticker inside the driver's door.
