24 month/24,000 mile Hoover Street Auto Repair Warranty

With our "In-House" 24-month, 24,000-mile warranty covering most parts & service. We will replace defective parts listed on your invoice at no charge, or refund the cost (our choice), within the time period or miles (whichever comes first) from the original date of service, as noted on your invoice. Warranty limited to items charged for on your invoice. The warranty applies only while the current owner owns the vehicle. All warranty repairs must be pre-approved.

Exclusions

There are, however, just a few exclusions:

  • In some situations, customers will elect to use, or we may recommend, a lower-quality/lower-cost part due to vehicle expectations or budget constraints. In those cases, the warranty is only for the duration specified by the part manufacturer.
  • Used parts – most used parts have only a 90-day warranty. Larger used parts, such as an engine or transmission, will have varying warranty lengths depending on the supplier & age of the part.
  • We will be very clear about using any parts that fall outside of our normal 24/24 warranty before obtaining your authorization & the actual warranty of the “excluded” part will be clearly noted on the repair order.

Our Business Ethics

"Character is doing what's right when nobody's looking."
   J.C. Watts, Jr.

For a business to succeed, it must earn the respect and confidence of those it aspires to serve. The most significant factor in earning this respect and confidence is acting and conducting business ethically. Unethical business practices foster ill will between customers and the community, not only toward a particular business firm but toward business as a whole.

We have committed to demonstrating leadership in ethical decision-making by following these fundamental practices.

Our code of ethics:

  • To have a sense of personal obligation to each customer.
  • To perform high-quality repair service at a fair and just price.
  • To provide the customer with a price estimate for the work to be performed (a legal requirement in Michigan).
  • To recommend and explain which services are necessary to maintain the vehicle in safe working order and which are for preventive maintenance.
  • To obtain prior authorization for all work done, in writing, or by other means satisfactory to the customer.
  • To notify the customer if appointments or completion promises cannot be kept.
  • To use only products which are of high quality and which provide service which equals or exceeds those recommended by the vehicle’s manufacturer.
  • To employ the best-skilled staff available and ensure they conduct themselves professionally.
  • To furnish an itemized invoice for parts and services that clearly identifies any used or remanufactured parts.
  • To enable replaced parts to be inspected upon request.
  • To exercise reasonable care for the customer's property while in our possession.
  • To provide or post copies of any warranties covering parts or services.
  • To maintain customer service records for one year or more.
  • To maintain a system for fair settlement of customers' complaints.
  • To cooperate with established consumer complaint mediation activities.

NAPA AutoCare Center Code of Ethics

As a NAPA AutoCare Center, we follow a strict Code of Ethics so customers will know up front what to expect. As part of this code, we pledge to:

  • To perform high-quality diagnostic and repair service at a fair price using quality NAPA parts;
