Having to add brake fluid repeatedly is almost always a red flag for a leak somewhere: lines, hoses, calipers, wheel cylinders, or the master cylinder, and in some cases, fluid can even be drawn into a failing brake booster. Until the leak is found and repaired, the vehicle is unsafe to drive because a sudden loss of all brake fluid can result in a complete loss of braking.
If you have questions about brake fluid disappearing, talk to our service advisors or see our Brake Repair in Ann Arbor page for details about our brake repair services.
